So how do you get to the point where you truly love your life? Try these quick, easy ways and notice the difference.
- Make a Joy List. I do this in my mind each day and ask my boys about theirs. We then post it somewhere where we can see it. (toilet door…well I am raising two boys! Also the bathroom mirrors. Many students of mine have seen messages of love on my bathroom mirrors to my boys.)
- Create Mantras for Yourself. We do this in my Psychic Reading and Spiritual Mentorship classes as well. Create a phrase or a word and repeat it as often as needed to replace another mantra that no longer serves you, such as “My life sucks”, “I am fat” “I am broke,” etc.
- Laugh When You Fall. It is my rule in my life and classes, but start to apply it to real life as often as you can. Develop a sense of humour. Especially about yourself.
- Be Kind to Yourself (including putting some time for yourself on your endless 'to do' list).
- Offer Yourself Grace Everyday. I extend this to clients in our Chat Sessions whether they are asking about their lives, hearing from a loved one in Spirit or meeting their Spirit Guide, but I sometimes forget to extend it to myself - noted!
- Be Grateful for What You Have Right Now AND for What is On Its Way. Say “thank you” in advance - not just when a difficult situation has occurred.
- Forgive Yourself for Not Being Perfect. No such thing. That is what airbrushing is for. Do the best YOU can DO at the TIME.
- Do Exercise That Works For YOU! I walk the dog, chase the kitten and play with my boys by bombing in the pool.
- Find Things to Be In Awe Of. Such as the dog’s flexibility.
- Sing Out Loud, Even If Badly. Feel free to release the pent-up energy on mankind (or your kids in the back seat of the car).
- Write Poems, Aspirational Notes and Observations. Even if only in your head.
- Dance and Laugh. In my case I laugh because I cannot dance and my boys roll their eyes!
- If You Don’t Have Anything Nice to Say, Don’t Even Think It!
- Tell Someone That You Love Them. Yes, right now.
- Take More Pictures and Videos of Your Life and Your Family.
- Enjoy Your Favourite Movie or Show. Still 'Will and Grace' for me…just Jack!
So there you have it, just a few simple ideas, so that you can really own saying “I love my life!”
