I love politics and was asked by Rod Chester from The Courier-Mail about the outcome of this Federal Election. Here's what I told him: I do think that Julia Gillard will win the federal election on August 21.
I said that I feel she will Labor into power but I don't believe it's going to be a landslide victory, in fact I think it will be quite tight. And I feel in the next two weeks there'lI be a lot more stuff ups in terms of policy announcements and rethinks etc.
Just as Gillard replaced Kevin Rudd, I believe there is another deal in place to switch the person in the PM's chair down the track and I don't see Julia Gillard fulfilling her term as prime minister.
I feel the deal is that her party is saying to her “you've got the kudos, you're the first female prime minister, you've got the personality and capacity to bring in the feminine warmth.”
But I feel that the deal with the caucus is that (Wayne) Swan will take over and that will be the mistake, because then it opens up the door for (Peter) Costello to come back.
I feel that the next election is the interesting one because it will be Costello running for PM against Swan and I feel that Swan will hand them the election.
I also think that Tony Abbott will not remain as leader but I do give him credit for putting up a good fight as Opposition Leader.
What do you think?

I'm cheering for more than one reason though..... this little insight that Julia would "Labor (labour) into power" was more true than I first thought.
It really was like a hard labour and a difficult birth.
...but the big news for me ('cause it's all about *me* you know ;) is that I have even more confidence in the insight and guidance you gave me a few months ago in my personal life. If you can be so spot on to even account for the long, drawn-out decision for the governing party, it warms my heart to think that I *will* be feeling more confident by 2012 as I *labour* through my grief.
Thanks again Julianna.

Last election I had a feeling Kevin would not see his term out. I always thought it would be a double dissolution. I never dreamed it would be Julia in the role of Brutus!

Hi Julianna, (ps that's my daughters confirmation name so pretty)
Very interesting insights into the political outcome and beyond. My worries is what damage will be done to our economy in the next 3 years. I wish people would look past the spin.
Just love the idea that Peter Costello jumping on board. Wish it could be sooner.!!
Keep up the great work

Thankyou for your insightful and intuitive thoughts. Yes, put people together and you will always get politics. I realise we need structure to run a country - shame as this is also at the expense of honesty at times.
Love,
Julianna.

I definitely feel that Costello is a major background player in all of it at the moment. Abbott is not a future PM.
Will be interesting the second year of the Labor Government, when the populace realises they are not economically smart.
Cheers,
Julianna.

Thanks for this insightful post. yeah these guys play a mean game of political intrigue, truly no holds barred. Thanks for taking your psychic acumen out into the real world of day to day human activity and sharing your insights with us about how the game will play out, I somehow feel politics is close to your heart considering your past life as a head of state, perhaps this has set you up to have tremendous insight into the machinations of human relationships. I don't know who said it but I remember the quote went somethings like this........ "put people together and you get politics'..............because we really are political animal at heart.
When will we learn to love and respect our fellow man instead of automatically defaulting back to our programmed conditioned response, a response that impels us to desire to dominate and attempt to control others at the expense of the welfare of all. Oh well thats the way it is, but we do have the ultimate choice to stand apart from automatic conditioned responses, that is the lesson of life I think. Thanks again for extending your insight into the political domain,
all love
Julie-Anne

Yes well a long time between election drinks.
So what do you all think of the way the election played out?
Julianna.
