Which Wolf Do You Feed?

Posted by: julianna

Tagged in: Spiritual

An old Cherokee told his grandson, "My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside of us all. One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies & ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy & truth." The boy thought about it, and asked, "Grandfather, which wolf wins?"
The old man quietly replied, "The one you feed."

This is so true.

Are You Blessed With Gifts or Tools?

Posted by: julianna

Tagged in: Positive Change

People either constantly ask me and my Guides what their gifts are or they tell me what they think their gifts are – and they can be as diverse as healing, clairvoyance, creativity, languages, people skills, IT – you name it. Whether they are seeking to clarify what their gift is or are telling me what it is, they are doing so because they want to know how to make themselves and their gift more productive and focused so that it works, supports and benefits them in their life.

Often their perception of their gift gets tied up in what their purpose in life is, but as I’ve expressed before, I don’t necessarily believe that we all have just one life purpose but, rather, we have many purposes depending on what stage we are at in our lives and in our own personal developmental journey. But what if I told you that you didn’t have or weren’t searching for a gift at all, but rather had or were searching for a tool?

The Style vs Fashion Debate of Leading Not Following

Posted by: julianna

Tagged in: Enlightenment

It was the amazing Yves Saint Laurent who famously said “Fashions fade, style is eternal.” Growing up with three sisters, I learnt a lot – both good and bad - about fashion from an early age, but one thing we all did was attend deportment school and for that I am eternally grateful to my Mum. The enduring lesson that deportment school taught me is that once you know your style, by understanding your body, you can make fashion work for you, but it will never dictate to you.

It’s a lot like the social trends we navigate as we live as well – new parenting trends, new ways of relating socially, the latest exercise fads - all of these things that challenge the way we have done things in the past and thought we knew about, can throw us off course if we are not fundamentally confident in who we are and how we do things.

The search for answers in Spirituality can be a lot like checking out the latest fashions – trying various forms on for size because you are searching for something to make you feel comfortable on the outside without really looking at who you are, what your lifestyle is and what basic shapes and colours work for your body to establish your own style.

Why Life Winners Emerge From The Biggest Losers Who Embrace Change

Posted by: julianna

“The Biggest Loser” is a television program aired in many countries in which contestants compete for a cash prize and the winner is the one who has lost the most amount of weight. There are versions in the US, UK, France, New Zealand and in many countries, which I’m sure you’re familiar with, and the Australian version is about to start with a new series featuring families.

As a trained intuitive profiler I don’t agree with all aspects of the program and the way that the contestants are sometimes manipulated, but I have been moved and shocked at the promotional ads on TV in Australia this week showing one woman who turns to one of the trainers after she’s walked off the set and says “I don’t want to change – there, I’ve said it!”

Why ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ is my ‘Channel, Ask, Find’

Posted by: julianna

Tagged in: Enlightenment

The world wide phenomenon of the book and now the movie ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ took me by surprise, mainly because when I read it I wasn’t sure why Elizabeth’s Gilbert’s year-long journey to Italy, India and Bali resonated with so many women. But after listening to people discuss it and yes – watching Oprah speaking to those who had changed their lives as a result of it – I realised that it resonated because Elizabeth set out to find out her life purpose, happiness and “what life’s all about” – and she did, for that phase of her life.

After working with Spirit all my life and providing professional psychic readings for 20 years, I can absolutely say that the one consistent thing everyone wants to know from me and my Guides is, their life purpose. My concern with this is the thinking that accompanies this question.

King Makers and More Political Predictions

Well by now we all know that Labour has formed a minority government as I predicted a few months ago.

There is something that deeply concerns me about his though - so much so that I wish we as a nation had actually gone back to the polling booths for a true reflection of what each of us and our value sets really wanted as a true representation of our thoughts and beliefs.

Julianna on Reincarnation

Posted by: julianna

Tagged in: Spiritual

You can image how many versions I have heard about reincarnation. In a recent course class I was asked about it and soon after my 11 year old son came home very upset about the fact that two kids in his class had knocked a spider out of a tree and then hit it to death. Dillon was distraught because to him the spider was a tiny soul to be looked after and the aggression of the kids frustrated him. Dillon told his brother Rhys about the spider and then Rhys asked me if it was true that the spider may have been someone we knew from a past life or if it could reincarnate to someone we will come to know. So here are my thoughts.

This week I am thrilled to present my interview with Giaan Rooney, which also coincides with this month’s Insight Magazine. As the guest editor of the August Insight Magazine, which was also a joy, I was able to present a series of articles from a range of contributors as well as interview covergirl Giaan about her achievements, motivation, transition from pool to media, her use of intuition throughout her life and excitingly, her future.

The interview is in four parts for your viewing pleasure so please click on the links to watch: Part 1 - her swimming career and decision to leave; Part 2 - her transition to media; Part 3 – my psychic reading of her future (this week's video on our home page); and Part 4 – my psychic warning about a job offer and Giaan’s discussion about using her intuition.

Defining What You Want in Your Life & Finding Your Purpose

Posted by: julianna

Tagged in: Positive Change

If you could do anything in your life right now – what would it be? If you were asked to define a purpose of your life – could you? If you can’t answer either question, you’re not alone. They’re such small questions but are increasingly asked as our lives get busier and everyone else’s needs and expectations seem to get met before our own.
