I recently asked people on Facebook who have lost a child if they would share their story of survival with me in the hope that it would help others going through the same thing. What I did not expect was to receive a beautifully written, heartfelt experience from one man in which I played a part - thank you Arthur. I was recently asked on Facebook how the outcomes in your life can be different from a reading you were initially given and how much of our lives are set in stone and how much we control.

It is something I have been asked many times and it’s why I believe that psychic readings are a map for you as part of your life, not your destination. It is also why the scenery on your journey to you realising your capacity can change depending on the route you choose to navigate on the way.

‘I did a palmistry course and I was told that my husband will die eight years from when read and that my daughter's first born will die at a young age, she will also go right out of my life. This has troubled me for 18 months,’ Julianna Client.

This is a real question that has been sent to me. I have protected the privacy of the person asking this, and spoken to them, but I wish to publicly comment on this because this is but one of many letters/questions like this that I receive on a regular basis.

I recently realised that many people accept that Spirit Guides exist, even if they don’t refer to them by this name (you may refer to them as intuition, gut instinct, Angels, Saints, Beings, Prophets, the Universe – whatever your belief), but few people understand why they are so passionate about trying to communicate with us as humans.

Even fewer people understand the unfair advantage that being able to use your intuition or Spirit Guides brings to their lives, by giving you a security that you can rely on in almost any situation.

This week I am thrilled to present my interview with Giaan Rooney, which also coincides with this month’s Insight Magazine. As the guest editor of the August Insight Magazine, which was also a joy, I was able to present a series of articles from a range of contributors as well as interview covergirl Giaan about her achievements, motivation, transition from pool to media, her use of intuition throughout her life and excitingly, her future.
